How do I download the iOS app?

Some releases contain compatibility or security changes that older versions cannot safely run without. In that case, My Little Accountant shows a full-screen Update required message before account or financial information is loaded.

Choose Open App Store, then tap Update on the My Little Accountant App Store page. The message cannot be dismissed; install the required version and reopen the app to continue.

My Little Accountant shows the App Store download link on the public landing page, the post-onboarding install page, and the web Account page.

After onboarding, My Little Accountant sends you to the install page so you can move from web setup into the mobile app.

Use the same email address in the mobile app that you used on the web. Your subscription, connected accounts, categories, chats, and settings are tied to that account.

Your Little Accountant keeps normal chat answers compact for a phone screen: the answer comes first, followed by only the most useful numbers or short bullets. Lists use one readable item per bullet instead of tables, vertical-bar separators, or divider lines. Ask for more detail whenever you want a deeper explanation.

When the keyboard is open in Chat, tap anywhere on the page outside the composer to close it without clearing your draft. After a conversation has started, you can also drag the transcript to dismiss the keyboard.

Mobile chat formats fenced code and plain-text blocks in a monospace panel. Inside a fenced block, drag the native selection handles to choose one transaction, part of a line, or any custom range. For exact selection across a full assistant response, tap Select text to open a dedicated scrollable sheet, scroll to any part of the response, adjust the native selection handles, copy the text you need, then tap Done.

An idle assistant mascot appears before a new chat starts and anywhere the app previously showed its animated logo. The complete mascot stays visible while only its eyes move; Reduce Motion keeps the mascot still.

My Little Accountant uses mobile app events to measure app installs and opens from App Store and advertising campaigns. These events help understand whether ads lead to installs, but they do not include your bank balances, transactions, categories, or AI chat content.

On iPhone, My Little Accountant asks for Apple's tracking permission before allowing Meta to collect the device advertising identifier. If you allow it, the identifier can improve ad-install attribution. If you decline, advertiser ID collection stays off and the app can still use Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork measurement. You can change the permission later in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
