How do I manage my subscription or delete my account?

Free onboarding connects accounts, lets you choose custom categories, syncs transactions, skips AI training, sets a spending goal, and enters the app. Continue with Pro on the earlier category-mode page opens checkout first; after Pro becomes active, onboarding shows a Thank you for choosing Pro confirmation over a gently animated flowing-blue background. Its standalone checkmark draws itself once, remains visible, and skips the animation when Reduce Motion is enabled. The confirmation then continues through category selection and AI training. Choosing Free skips checkout and moves directly to category selection. Neither path sees another plan page after the spending goal.

Checkout opens one stable payment session, then creates Pro only after Stripe confirms that the card was saved for the signed-in account. Incomplete or invalid card details stay on checkout with an inline message so My Little Accountant does not continue with a missing or unrelated payment method.

The current app no longer offers a free-trial choice. During the installed-app compatibility window, a previously released mobile version can still honor its one-time trial action; a legacy trial that starts or is already active keeps Pro access until its original end date.

A billed Pro plan is $89.99 per year, equivalent to $7.50 per month, or $9.99 monthly. The mobile app shows the compact plan tag only in Settings; Finances and Net Worth do not show a plan tag.

A Free-plan user can use one conversation with their little accountant and send up to five user messages in it during each allowance. The one-month reset period starts when the fifth included message is used, rather than resetting for everyone on the first day of the calendar month. Before reaching five messages, the user can continue that same included conversation; starting or switching to a different conversation still requires Pro. After the fifth message, a new included conversation becomes available one month later.

Each time you open the Chat tab, My Little Accountant prepares a fresh first-message screen with the assistant mascot above a centered clean white composer with one soft light-blue glow, without starter-prompt cards, outlines, or divider effects. The centered composer stays anchored when the keyboard opens unless it would be covered, then lifts only by the overlap. After you send the first message, the composer moves to its standard position at the bottom. Opening the keyboard in an existing conversation also scrolls the transcript to its real bottom after the keyboard finishes resizing the page, so the latest message stays visible above the composer. If a Free account reaches its rolling chat limit on an empty Chat or Code Mode conversation, the screen presents the mascot, saved-work message, explanation, reset timing, and Pro action together as one centered group. A layered light-blue organic gradient fills the entire screen through the bottom safe area without a separate rounded panel. The dashboard version says the dashboard is saved, combines the upgrade benefit and reset timing into one paragraph, and offers Keep building with Pro. While Your Little Accountant is responding, regular Chat, Dashboard Code Mode, and onboarding categorization show a compact loading mark beside a calm description of the AI's real current action, such as checking transactions, reviewing spending, calculating net worth, or categorizing. Thinking through your question and Putting your answer together cover the brief periods before and after a tool runs. Tapping that active loading row expands the user-facing tools in the current working stretch, including tools that are still running, and the upward arrow collapses it again. The transcript continuously follows the loading description and each newly streamed line without leaving an overscroll gap above the controls, then finishes in place without a separate animated snap. After the assistant responds or pauses for input, completed tool calls become one collapsed Worked for row that can be expanded on tap, while useful rich results such as charts and transaction details remain visible. You can switch to another main tab without stopping the active conversation. The response continues in Chat and is ready there when you return; switching tabs does not create a new conversation or use another message.

My Little Accountant does not show a running remaining-message count while the assistant is available. When a Free user reaches the rolling limit, the app keeps the message transcript visible and replaces the composer with an upgrade panel. The panel shows the number of days until that user's one-month cycle resets and offers a Pro upgrade to continue immediately.

If a Free user taps the plus button after claiming the cycle's conversation, My Little Accountant opens a full-screen blue upgrade modal instead of creating an unusable empty chat. The modal offers yearly or monthly Pro and can be dismissed back to the saved conversation.

The server enforces the allowance even if the app is out of date or requests are retried. Pro onboarding AI training and the full guided first exchange with Your Little Accountant at the end of the main-app tutorial do not claim the rolling chat allowance or consume a message. The server keeps that exchange exempt while it streams or retries, even after the app clears the local tutorial marker, and automatically removes an incorrect quota claim if an earlier request attached one to that verified tutorial chat. When you tap to send that guided first question, its coaching layer closes immediately so the full response remains scrollable while it streams and after it finishes. Completing that step also clears its onboarding marker, so the coaching layer does not return when the app or chat is reopened. Pro users, including users in a still-active legacy trial, have unlimited AI chats and messages.

Pro includes everything in Free plus nightly AI categorization into your custom categories, unlimited AI conversations and messages, multiple custom dashboards, and richer category-aware insights. Free can use one custom dashboard, categorize manually, and ask AI to categorize or create rules within its included chat limit.

You can manage Pro from the web Account page opened through mobile Settings and choose a monthly or annual plan.

If you cancel an active Pro subscription, My Little Accountant keeps Pro access available until the end of the current billing period. The Account page shows the access-until date; after that, your account automatically continues on Free.

Deleting your account permanently removes your data in My Little Accountant, connected account data, chats, memories, settings, and active sessions. This action cannot be undone.

• Deleting your account signs you out after the deletion succeeds.
